How will my shipment be packaged?
Your package will be packed with great care, to ensure safe arrival of your product to your location. You will receieve a box, with your selected oils and vinegars inside. Gift packs come in their own specially designed boxes, but are shipped in brown boxes, to keep the product safe from breaking and/or damage.
How should I store my Olive Oil and Vinegar?
Olive oil is best kept in a cool, dark place for optimal use. Temperature is important in preventing degradation of olive oil. Experts recommend storing the oil at 57 degrees Fahrenheit, the temperature of a wine cellar. Aren't lucky enough to have a wine cellar? A room temperature of about 70 degrees Fahrenheit will be fine. If your kitchen is routinely warmer than that, you can refrigerate the oil.
How long do Olive Oils and Vinegars last?
Olive oil is generally best within the year in which it was made. While some oils have been successfully stored for much longer, there is no advantage, unlike wine, to aging olive oil. If a bottle is opened and exposed to air, it will likely last only about 60 days before deteriorating (becoming rancid) - especially if it is also exposed to light.
Where can I find nutritional Information on your products?
Each product that we sell will include nutritional information on the back of the label, as required by law. If you need to know this information in advance of a purchase, please contact us for further details.
